It Takes a Village

It’s easy to think that every successful person out there is doing it ALL, but I think most of us have figured out by now (and may need a reminder) that they are successful in large part because they are NOT doing everything – They. Have. Help.

Whether they’ve hired staff or outsourced certain functions, they rely on the help of others to help them succeed. They make the work they do fit inside their container.

Are you feeling like the to do list has gotten out of hand? That there aren’t enough hours in the day? You currently have no room for emergencies, urgent requests, illness…and any one of these happening could tip the scale into crisis mode?

We hear it often (and have been there ourselves!). When you’re at the point where you have no time available to be human, with human needs and emotions, it’s time to make a change.

Sidenote: If you’re a parent in the midst of the summer chaos, solidarity. This throws structure out the window and makes everything seem harder. Keep up the good work (or throw in the towel for an evening and find out if your kids know any survival skills)!

This is your reminder to do the things you LOVE and that only you can do, and find ways to automate, delegate or eliminate the rest.  We recommend asking yourself this one question and taking thestart where you are” approach

Who’s in your village? Who might you need to add??

To your #PROmance,

Sarah
